Just what's going on? First gross slime then pink snakes [though she'd found the snakes kinda cute] and ghosts, now dinosaurs! I almost died! Speaking of, thanks mysterious speedy masked guy whose name I didn't get, for saving me.

Quick emergency Mina's Fashion Corner tip:

I've seen some people selling clothes with dinosaurs on them. And even a few wearing them. Do not do that. Seriously, it's a total fashion no-no. It's just tacky.

If you really want to go with a dinosaur theme, try wearing dinosaur colors! Besides, green's the in color right now. Loose clothing is also in, but it has to be stylish, okay? You can deviate from the current fashion, but that's not for amateurs. Only the stylish and cute can get away with it.

Those colors are commonly associated with alligators and crocodiles. Do you think that's coincidental?

I dunno. I'm not exactly a dinosaur expert. [She doesn't want to be that geeky.]

Did you know that crocodiles have remained virtually unchanged since the time of the dinosaurs? They basically are modern-day dinosaurs. Therefore, the answer to a question you might have interpreted as rhetorical is that no, it's likely not coincidental that we automatically associate dinosaurs and their closest present-day relatives.

Now more than ever, the truth can be pretty amazing.

Humans probably look nothing like they will when they're evolutionarily perfect for their world. That's probably why we find it so interesting.

Okay, that's a kinda weird and disturbing thought.

Not anywhere near as weird and disturbing as the thought that human beings will never reach that peak evolutionary form, instead going the way of the dinosaurs, perhaps.

It is a depressing thought, isn't it? But life finds a way. That's not depressing.

Now you're being philosophical again. But I guess that's a positive thought.

I didn't actually do that well in Philosophy 101, you know.

Really? I'd think a smart guy like you'd do pretty well.

I was more into math, science and logic. The humanities were really confusing to me, and... admittedly I had some bumpy semesters for a variety of reasons.

Most people tend to be good at analytic or artistic stuff but it's rare to innately have both. You're more artistic, right?

I do pretty well in art class.

[Which isn't the same as being good at art. But at least she's just mediocre, not terrible.]
