Echo Incursion - Despair Attack!
Who: Anybody
What: Zetsuborgs! Zetsuborgs everywhere!
Where: Anywhere. Teleporters exist and I'm flexible.
When: Basically any over the week.
Why: Because zetsubou
Somewhere, at any place in the world really, a bizarre event is happening. Par for the course really, but as characters make their way around today they might come across one or more strange little creatures. The tiny things are essentially a sort of lock with tiny hands and feet connected to their body by lengths of chain. And probably dismiss them as curiosities since they seem rather harmless on their own.
But however dangerous they may or may not be is irrelevant. All that matters to them is their mission. Their mission to hunt down strong and hopeful dreams and lock them away forever.....
[OOC: So, here's the post for Kirara's Incursion event. Details are here. Open to anybody who wants to get transformed, see or get involved with an NPC getting cause or fighting monsters. Whatever. It's all good.]

She noticed it come into view a short while ago, following her for some reason. Well, she was soon going to find out...

hey emi
do you want me to pick you up something for lunch
im about to get food
[He was a dirty liar--if only because he wanted two lunches.]

"Perhaps! What do you have in-Ahh!" Her reply is cut off by a scream as the Zetsuborg suddenly suddenly lunged at her, causing her to drop her phone... Suddenly a empty feeling grew in her chest, and a lock shaped hole appeared there. As a large, metal cage appeared around her and rose into the air as the monster itself appeared, taking the form of a giant version Emilia in white armor. Or rather, some sort of armored dress.
With a roar of "ZETSUBORG!" the monster begins it's rampage...

He was following Emilia's source of power--something he could easily recall.

"What... the hell!? Emi!"
no subject
As for the monster itself, it roars "Zetsuborg!" angrily and moves in to attack him, lashing out with its mockery of Emilia's weapon, Gungnir.

That's when the strange, lock-shaped creature came upon them. Amy blinked, staring at it. "Uhm, Saretha," she began to say, when suddenly, the beast leaped at her, faster Amy could react. Her eyes widened as she felt a hollow, empty feeling in her chest, and a lock-shaped hole appeared inside of it. Above her, an image of Amy in a cockpit appeared, as a large, metal cage formed around her.
"I WANT TO FIGHT!" the apparition of Amy declared.
The image disappeared, and the cage floated upwards, as a large monster materialized. It looked like a mobile suit, except it had what had appeared to be a chef's apron, a similar hat, and a large fork instead of a lance. What's more, instead of a normal face, it had one that looked like the locked face of the creature that attached itself to Amy.
Letting out a bellow, the monster swung its weapon, screaming "ZETSUBORG!"
[ooc - Saretha to come after this.]
no subject
As such, this happens suddenly, without warning, and there's little she can do to prevent it. She's sent stumbling back as the monster forms, gritting her teeth and leaping away - her strength remains, still not having slacked on her exercise and training - and landing with considerable poise. She's just in business wear - she doesn't look anywhere near equipped for a battle.
"Amy!"
Dammit. There's been too many weird instances of late, and this thing seems far more up Winter or Jasmine's alley than her own.
no subject
In the next moment, it lets out another cry of "ZETSUBORG", before swinging out with its weapon. A car is impaled on the enormous utensil, which results in the monster swinging it around, several times over Saretha's head, like a crude bludgeon.
It was now time for indiscriminate destruction. There was power for it to prove.
no subject
She casts her eyes towards Amy trapped in the floating cage and growls. Of course, she can't leave this be either, can she? Still with her eyes on the monster, she pulls out her cell phone. She has to contact someone...!
no subject
"ZETSUBORG!" it roars, flying onward. Missile racks on its body open up, and... clearly fire something, but nothing can be seen. Explosions follow, indicating that it fired some kind of invisible weaponry, and the whistling in the air indicates the presence of more.
Aside from that sound, there's no telling where they might land.
no subject
A Zetsuborg, here, in the actual, real world. That shouldn't even be possible but there it was, staring her right in the face. Worst of all, she didn't have a clue where it had come from, or if there were any more out there--
"ZETSUBORG!"
"What the?" Her eyes snap downward at the sudden yell, sounds of a bellowing monster and panicked screams reaching her ears. "What, seriously? Two of them?"
And this one looks like it's going to be trouble too, with somebody already cornered by it. As the monster launches its attack, Twinkle alters her path, springing off the side of the building toward the ground. She lands lightly, pausing just long enough to snatch the other woman up in her arms and take to the air again, sweeping her up and away from the attack just before it hits.
"Phew." She breathes a quick sigh of relief before turning to her rescuee. And then she blinks in recognition, realizing just who it is she's damsel-carrying out of harm's way. "Oh... hey."

None of his business. He had bigger fish to fry. So he mostly ignored it.
Maybe he'll regret that, after today.
As he walked out, he was greeted by the sudden appearance of a giant chicken. It screeched and cawed and looked very well like it was about to just STEP on him, when something else appeared - a demonic looking lock, which leapt out and...
Well. At the moment, he's sitting on the curb, his sack by his side, poking at his phone as he pays attention to the Network for the first time. Agumon is at his side, trying to tug at his arm and drag him either away or into battle. He's not sure which.
"Look, I'll take care of it! I just gotta... figure this out."
Great time to figure it out. It doesn't help that as the chicken changed into a giant green faceless parrot, he wound up getting slammed with another damned echo. He keeps saying he'll handle it, but... is he really gonna fight that thing?
Yeah, looks like it. He sighs and stands up, rolling his shoulders lazily as he hears sirens.
Okay, maybe he shouldn't have taken this much time, as the parrot lock monster thing stomps down a street light half a block away.

If only her aunt only knew everything else Molly had been up to since then...
Needless to say, she's a bit unaware of the chaos outside. At least, at first. Once she pays for her things and steps outside, she... she sees a large green parrot with a strange face on it causing havoc.
Needless to say, Molly turns right around, leaves her bags with the clerk, and then steps back out, clutching her Cure Commune for dear life. She's about to run and try and find a place to hide and safely transform, when-
"AH! IT'S YOU!" Molly cries, pointing dramatically at Mamoru and Agumon. "You're the guy with the lizard!"
no subject
"HEY!" Agumon suddenly snaps, looking more than mildly offended. "I have a name, y'know!"
Letting his hand slip from his forehead, her waves a hand at her. "How do you keep wandering into this shit?! Get out of here!"
Also, the smashing has suddenly stopped. Almost like the monster has now noticed something. Loud. Like a girl and a boy yelling at each other.
Oh. Whoops.
no subject
Before anything more could be said, however, she noticed the monster heading towards them. Shooting Mamoru a determined look, she held up her commune, and... ran towards the monster.
"Precure! Love Link! Abundant love, Cure Heart!"
In a flash of light and various hand motions, the once-helpless girl was replaced by Cure Heart, who was running towards the beast.
no subject
What the fuck?
"Ah! Bro, she transformed! Just like those girls on TV!"
Yeah. He... he can see that. Where the hell was that when they had saved her the other week, along with that crazy girl? He groans and shakes his head. Well, at least--
Wait. Why is she running towards it?!
"HEY! Hold on you little idi--"
Mamoru's shout falls deaf from the bird monster's shrill cry as it suddenly pounds forward, wings flapping wildly with agitation as its claws slap against the street pavement. Once again, he's not really faced with the ability to do anything but run on instinct.
As he literally runs, racing to out pace the girl, and meet the monster. Adrenaline pulsing through him, all he knows is that he needs to knock the hell out of the thing. So, he leaps up, finding himself carried much further in the air than a normal human might be.
His fist flashes out, slamming into the monster's midsection. It gives a cry, before flapping mightily with its wings, the gust powerful enough to knock Mamoru back through the air. He hits the street, tumbling and bouncing across it, sliding to a stop and... he groans, before pushing himself up. As he does so, there's a flare of energy around his fist, and he grunts.
"There has gotta be an easier way to do that."
no subject
Okay, but Molly actually has practical monster fighting experience. She grits her teeth, as she watches him get knocked to the ground. Part of her wants to help him... but the other part of her wants to prove herself.
So she shoots Mamoru a glare and just... turns and resumes running towards the beast, this time at full speed. And, unlike her first battle with a monster, she's managed some control over this power, and she's able to rein herself in enough to not overshoot this time.
Her form could be better, but all in all, she's swinging a particularly powerful kick at the beast's head.

13th, Shepard's Haven
"....Uh, Rakka?" Fougere's tiny voice popped up, something in it showing a hint of alarm. Rakka's gaze was pulled towards the tiny fairy, who was pointing towards... towards...
What was that thing? Some kind of little lock creature? "...What the-Aaah!" No sooner had Rakka opened her mouth, had the tiny monster leaped at her. Then next few moments were a blur. All she felt was an invading sense of emptiness until... nothing. She slumped back, eyes showing a blank and dull look. Fougere, more freaked out then ever, rushed forward. "I'll save you... Rakka?"
Not that it would help any. As something came into being between the fairy and the floating cage. It looked like... Rakka. Only bigger, much bigger. A single, giant red eye glared down at Fougere through a black lock taking the place of her face. It had her hair, and her halo, but from the "head" down it became a dress that skirted the ground, made up of some recognizable materials her friends would know about. Some frills here, simple plain colors there. And a pair of massive wings poked out of its back with no arms to be found.
It swung a wing out at the trembling Fougere, narrowly missing and smashing that bike.
He couldn't handle this, certainly not alone. Fougere zoomed off towards the house, panic overwhelming in his tone. "Raaaaye! Get your butt out here!!"
no subject
An afternoon off too, which meant a couple hours of lazing around while Rakka went off to ride her bike around. Raye would have been all too happy to take her for a ride herself, but apparently a motorcycle ride with Raye Satterfield wasn't relaxing or something. Go figure.
She was just dozing off when a sudden commotion came from outside. Instantly, Raye was on her feet and rushing out the door... nearly slamming right into Fougere when he came rushing up to the house.
"Ack! What the fuck, pipsqueak, where's--" The question died on her lips as she took in the sight of the towering, winged monster standing over the small village. More importantly, the cage hanging behind it... and its occupant. Her heart felt like it stopped dead in its tracks, fear gripping her and becoming all to visible in the near-panicked shout she let out a moment later. "RAKKA!"
no subject
Not right now, though.
Fougere was thrown off by Raye suddenly bursting onto the scene, sending him spiraling through the air to not get run into. "Rakka got attacked by a weird lock thing, and it created this monster!! You have to do something!"
"ZETSUBORG!" The monster rumbled in anger, glancing down to spot Raye standing there beside that fairy it failed to smash. Maybe, just maybe, if it swung a wing down at the both of them, it wouldn't miss this time.
And there was no reply out of Rakka, not even an acknowledgement that she heard Raye's cry. Were it not for her drooping, blank eyes being half-open, it would almost look like she was sleeping.
no subject
"What the hell?" She cried, looking back at Fougere just an instant before the monster was suddenly on top of them and swinging one oversized wing down. Cursing, she reached out to snatch the tiny fairy and dove out of the limb's path, rolling to a stop before pushing him away.
"Go get help!" And she turned back to the monster, glaring in fury up at the creature even as she sprang toward it to throw a return punch. A punch with everything she had in her behind it. "Let her go right NOW!"
no subject
And Fougere was promptly pushed, spinning in the air until he finally got the strength to keep moving. "Find.... help. Right..." He'd put aside any stupidity with Raye, for Rakka's sake. He zoomed away dutifully.
That punch, while not from a Precure, did hurt. Quite a bit, possibly. It was hard to tell when a monster had no face. It forced the monster back, making it recoil and stumble until it fell over itself and onto the ground. Rakka's cage still floated nearby, undisturbed by the fighting happening around her.
no subject
Even as the Zetsuborg crashed to the ground, she was on it, raining blows down on the hard metal of its face. She wasn't concerned in the slightest with defending herself right now, nor was she worried about the way the skin on her knuckles split with each blow.
"I said let her go, you bastard!" She screamed into the monster's face, hammering away at it without pause. "GIVE HER BACK!"
