Or A Network Option If You're Not Into Pizza
[The video comes up on a road in the middle of the unending wastelands of the Western USA. Off in the distance is a military vehicle, probably a checkpoint. The video holds on this image for a little while before somebody speaks from offscreen.]

Okay, see that? I just passed by there and found one of General Miller's Finest sleeping on the job so I'm gonna do my civic duty and wake him the hell up. Watch this.

[The device recording is set down and fiddled with, leaning against something, a rock or whatever, and then the grass around it is ruffled by a gust of wind breaking the still air. Several seconds tick by, holding on the parked vehicle.... and then suddenly a bolt of yellow lightning tears by it at an incredible speed and the car is visibly jostled by the force of its passing. The driver's side door opens up and a soldier immediately stumbles out, tripping all over himself and coughing in the dust cloud.

There's now a yellow lightning bolt spraypainted on the side of his truck.]

Holy crap! [The voice is back, almost at the same time as anybody watching can register that the camera's been picked up and is moving... just stupidly fast if the blur of the background is any indication. The young man holding it looks back over his shoulder before turning to the screen laughing.] Oh, man, that guy looks pissed!

[Anyone who pays any sort of attention to American football is going to recognize the guy who's showing up on the network tonight. He's Ronnie "the Rocket" Stein, star quarterback for the Gateway City Guardians. Judging by the size and angle of the picture, he's accessing the network from a mobile phone.]

So...this is the Numbered network thing, huh? I've looked around a little, can't say I've actually posted to this thing before. It's a little too weird for me, you know? But if it's going to keep getting weirder, if I'm reading this thing right.

[Because he's gone back and looked at things. You people are all strange.]

Not like I've found any answers to my particular brand of weirdness, I gotta say.

[He leans back a little bit.]

Can anyone tell me if it's normal to be getting the same...things...as someone else?

Factor Industries Charity Event: October 18th, 2016

Even for Benjamin Factor, arranging this charity event had been something of a challenge. Just as he held great influence in Gateway City, Thunder Corp's influence in Locke was great as well. But with time and money, all things were indeed possible in this case, and the Memorial Dance Hall was playing host to the night's events. It was a glamorous affair: politicians, captains of business, dignitaries, and celebrities had been invited. For whatever controversy that existed, the world legitimately wanted to heal the wounds left by the invasion, and that meant there were a lot of people who wanted to use events like this to either advance that cause, or to make themselves look good.

But they weren't the only sorts of individuals who had recieved an invitation.

Benjamin Factor had also made it so the Numbered would be invited to his little party. Arrivals through the teleporter would be greeted by drivers at the community center, and the same courtesy was extended to anyone who might live in Locke. The only stipulation? Was that anyone who came make an effort to make themselves presentable. If that was a problem, or anyone arrived without knowing, they had clothes on hand for people to change into.

Indeed, it seemed that the Numbered would be well provided for tonight. That being said, their presence would get people to talk, given the presence of news crews making live coverage. Nevertheless... "getting people to talk" seemed to be exactly what Benjamin Factor wanted to happen.

[Molly is sitting in her room. She knows her aunt is asleep right now in her room, so now is a good enough time for it. She's also factoring in the advice Lily and Winter gave her: Don't reveal too much about yourself. The Network was apparently dangerous right now, so she had to feel this out yet.

Still... she knew she had to take this first step. Taking a deep breath, she flipped open her phone, and keyed in the numbers...]

Ah...! Hello, everyone! My name is Molly! [following Lily's advice, she forgoes her full name.] I guess you could say I'm a new face! I've been wondering about how to introduce myself, so... here I am!

I-I want to get to know other Numbered, and... maybe get some idea of what everything's like and what I have to expect! I know being a Numbered is really tough, but... I've seen and heard about all the amazing things you've done! I think you're all amazing!

[A new face pops up on the network today. Though she doesn't look or sound incredibly excited. If anything her tone sounds a little bored. She's been poking around the network for a little while now, but she hasn't felt the need to speak up until now.]

Is it common for us to remember things or get abilities similar to what someone else already has? I'm just asking out of curiosity.

[She glances to the side before looking back at the feed and adding in.]

Oh and give yourselves a big pat on the back or whatever for helping with the whole giant lizard situation. Woo. go team, et cetera.

[She probably could have put in a bit more energy to that, but she didn't.]

1- [Video] [Gateway City] [During the Dinosaur Rampage]

[The face that appears on camera is thoroughly traumatized. A blonde woman in her early thirties is sobbing hysterically, wearing a bridal veil and cowering in the empty lobby of an office building while Velociraptors race past her screeching, sharp sickle-toes flexing menacingly as they barrel toward a nearby butcher shop.]

The fuck?! I didn't sign up for this, I did not leave Vegas for this! Somebody help me!

[There seems to be a lull in the commotion outside; she contacted the network during an action-packed moment, but she is being left alone at present. Trembling, she stands and makes her way shakily to the elevator, cradling her cell phone in her hands as she starts to take it to the highest floor.]

So... I guess it's out, huh? I'm one of you. Fan-fucking-tastic.

[She rips the veil out of her hair, looks at it, and bursts into a fresh bout of tears.]
