The scissor blade certainly would have done more damage then merely her fists. But the way Raye railed on the hard lock of the Zetsuborg's face, it really didn't matter in the end, did it? Blow upon blow rained down on its locked face, while a cold, unfeeling red eye glared up at her. There were scuff marks, and maybe a crack forming when that voice reached the real Rakka's ears. But you just couldn't destroy a lock so quickly.

Slowly, almost painstakingly, the creature tried to force itself onto its feet, while trying to knock Raye off. Would she be able to dodge a wing coming in to smack her off? Let's just see.
