[She paused at the sight. There were familiar yellow cat-like things wandering around looking very confused. When they saw her, they froze up. She realized why just as some of them began to flee.]

Wait! I'm not Moge-ko! I'm nothing like her!

[That caused some to pause and give her confused looks. And then she caught up and they tensed up as she began to speak...]

Is there a "My past life was a terrible person" club? Because I think I'd be a good candidate for one.

Also, Mogekos suck. They're horrible. They look like those. [And she uploads a picture of one of the yellow cat-things.] Except that those ones here're okay. I've talked with them. [And they'd been afraid of her because she looked like that horrible Moge-ko. It'd taken some effort to calm them down a bit, but they'd still been wary of her.] They're Defect Mogekos which means that they aren't like the rest and they get killed for it. I don't know how they showed up here and they don't know either. This must be one of those weird things like the dinosaurs.

Um, they aren't very bright, I don't think, but could someone give them jobs or something? They'll starve without it and I already asked my dad and he said no to feeding all of them and that they should get jobs if they're smart enough to talk. And he won't give them jobs either.

[How unfair! Cute things like those shouldn't have to suffer! Well, at least the not-terrible ones. The terrible ones deserve it.]

The first one called me a dyke and said I'd go to hell and stuff like that. I don't regret beating her up. But I wish I hadn't scratched up the guy who argued with me about the Numbered being good.

[She'd still been upset over the loss of her home and the near-death experience of her family, and had latched onto blaming the Numbered.]

I don't think you were wrong to get mad in either case. It's a natural response to being insulted or hurt.

The solution is to become so secure in who you are that it doesn't matter what other people say. If you're not a "dyke," they're wrong and it makes them dumb and imperceptive. If you are, you have no reason to be mad, because it's not a bad thing and it's something you like about yourself.

I do like girls. But the way she said it and acted like it was a detestable thing made me really mad.

[Becoming that secure isn't an easy task. She constantly desires love and affirmation for herself.]

She's the one with the problem. Next time that happens, remember that you should pity such a person, not get mad.

Gotcha. ♪ I'll just pity them. ♪

[Contempt she can do easily. Though anger comes just as easily.]

You sound a lot happier. Is it important to you to feel superior to others?

It makes me happier to feel superior to people trying to get me down! Though I'd rather it if they liked me.

I'm perfectly lovable. People just have to see that.

You could probably say that about most people, that there are very positive qualities they possess that are overlooked or obscured.

Whatever. [She doesn't think so, but she isn't going to argue.]

Maybe you need to work on making those qualities a little less obscured, is what I think I'm trying to get at.

They're perfectly easy to see! I had friends... [Ones who were just as catty as her. And who'd been very quick to dump her because of the violent incidents.] I have my family... [Though things'd gotten a little tense with her parents.] I was even an model!

I know you had a lot of good things going for you, but... those aren't always the kinds of things that make and keep friends. I'm talking about subtler and less flashy things.
