Hello, everyone. It's been a long time, hasn't it? I'm sorry I haven't really been active much these past few months. Things have been extremely busy for me lately.

... I heard about the things that have happened lately. I guess trouble finally started to crop up again, hasn't it? I really did pick a fine time to come back... But, all the same, I guess it's good if we're all aware of things, right?

[she laughs a little bit]

Anyway, I'd really like to catch up with anyone who's interested. And... maybe get to know anyone who's joined the Network recently, as well. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Amy. Amy Dylandy.

Hello, Rakka! It has been a long time... too long!

How are yyou? You're keeping well, right?

[Here's someone that hasn't changed much at all, though her location has. This is neither nor her home in Locke, nor her second home in Shepherd's Haven, and while that's something that bothers her, there isn't much to be done for it. She grins when she sees the familiar face popping up.]

Amy! It really has been a while... a lot's changed. Of course, things are a mess now, but it happens. I'm sure Ms. Kaiser has been keeping you busy, huh?

Winter, it's kind of weird that you're still referring to my girlfriend as if she were my boss. I only help her with the charity now. But... she's fine, and it's good to see you again!

[she laughs a little bit, to show she's not really taking any offense] Anyway, that's the first I've heard of dinosaurs and monster snakes as just a "mess"...

I'm just fine. The move to Shepard's Haven went amazingly! [She's got her own new home, and the love of her life staying with her. What could be bad?]

How are you doing, Nathan?

I've not heard anything about the whereabouts or activities of my doppelganger since the invasion. [He's still around somewhere, so far Nathan knows. Hopefully he will not see fit to cause trouble.]

I am . . . fine, under the circumstances. [He's hedging, here. There have been personal difficulties, but they are not to be discussed on an open network with someone he is only barely acquainted with. Any discomfort he can easily attribute to the strange goings-on lately and it will be at least partially true.]

It's always better to be productive. Nothing is more stressful than feeling useless or like dead weight. Therefore, it sounds like a good kind of stress, if such a thing exists.

North America has been trouble, continuously, the entire time.

I see. If you hear from him, tell him I wish him well. I... know it's not super likely, but I think about him from time to time.

But... I am glad you're doing alright.

Ah... hello, Marina. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was ignoring all that. I meant in regards to new problems appearing.

That's how I've always felt. I'm happiest when I'm working.

Compared to last year... It's nothing we can't handle.

Mmm. Well, we can't exactly afford to make assumptions either, now can we?

I doubt anything can top the invasion.

And besides if I went in expecting to lose, I wouldn't have lasted this long.

I never said anything about expecting to lose, now did I? I'm just saying we can't go in assuming things.

From what I've observed, he makes an impression. [He has no actual ill will toward his double -- he'd been mostly harmless and had helped with the invasion when called to it -- but . . . he's seen him on network backlog. Please excuse his secondhand embarrassment.]

I would like to say it will last, but with recent events, it cannot be guaranteed.

Mmm... yeah, I understand. But, as long as we all do our part, we can at least stand up to what's coming our way. I mean, we've already endured so much.
