[Lily greets the Network with a smile and a nod. Though there's a few scratches here and there, she seems to have survived the dinosaur mishap in one piece.]

Hello, everyone. I hope that everybody who ran into the trouble in Gateway is doing alright, or at least hasn't suffered too badly. We seem to have been able to help get those things herded into one place, at least - it would seem Mr. Factor has issued some help in building up more permanent ways to keep them captive, for the time being.

Between that and the other strange things, however... that goop from last month, ghostly apparitions in Shephard's Haven, and... [She taps her chin and frowns just a little.] I saw a report, a sighting in Locke City of... well, snakes. Large, pink stone snakes, like the ones we fought a long time ago.

[She shakes her head.] That seems impossible, though. The giant snake was killed just as long ago...

[Not to mention Proud.]

I wonder... has anyone else seen anything of note? All of this stuff is happening in such close proximity, it's got to be connected in some way, but it's escaping me.

[B - Locked to Winter; Action]

Gateway City is fine and everything, but Lily's starting to get more than a little homesick. The dinosaurs were under control, and she enjoys having certain people and family in close proximity, but... They'd made a new home in Shephard's Haven, right?

In some way, it feels like they're running again. She can't blame Winter for the fear she expressed, and she can't lie and say she doesn't worry about something similar. What she'd be faced with there... The likes of Dark Precure, or Sabaaku...

A part of her wants to go back, to force the hand of whatever's messing with them this time. To see what will happen and conquer it.

Lately though, she's been rather adamant about a number of things to Winter. She's had to put her foot down in some ways, and expressed great worry in others. She worries a little bit, that she's pushing things. Certainly, it's within her bounds to worry about this stuff, but... she doesn't exactly want to make herself unbearable to work with, either. Bleeding heart that she is, even if she believes herself right, she feels a bit bad about it.

Which may or may not explain the bouquet of flowers sitting in their room that she's finishing tidying up.

Just because you're a damned bleeding heart doesn't mean I have to sit back and watch things go to hell. I don't do subtle. You've known that since I was first born. [The smirk that finds its way onto her face is somehow audible. Creepy.] You happen to have known that even before then. Wisdom's mirror isn't exactly conservative, huh?

[Oh yeah, she can practically hear that smirk. It almost makes her shudder - the distinct reminder that Summer is privy to all sorts of intimate, private details of her life that only Winter otherwise knows does make her shudder.

Dammit. Against Summer, she's really at a disadvantage...]

[She coughs, and grits her teeth.] Summer. Seriously. If there's something big and obvious and not going to ruin my life that we can point you at to destroy, by all means - have at it.

As it is, just... please. Can we try it my way, just until we have an idea on what's going on? I don't exactly have anything to offer you in return, but...

Please. [She's repeating herself, and she knows that's also going to be a clear sign she's on the defensive.] Can you trust me a little bit, at least?

That mirror has everything to do with this conversation♪ [Singsong, while also becoming more dangerous with every passing moment.] After all, she didn't want to take no for an answer. She knew that nothing ever comes your way when you just sit back and wait for it. Action is the way forward. And action is what I want.

But... trust. Trust. That's a hard commodity, these days. Who can trust someone like me? Clearly, you can't, or we wouldn't be having this conversation. I'm not stupid enough to put a company with enough guns to raid the Federal Reserve against me, or you, or any of the rest of us. I may not always like you, Lily Tsukuyomi, but I have common human decency. I'm not going to murder janitors and secretaries in cold blood because they're working for assholes.

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Show me what you and your team can come up with, and we'll see if there's something I can do for you. I don't do subtle, but I'm capable of stealth until the moment is right for the biggest punch. There's a certain look on people's faces when you hit them and they aren't expecting it... I've come to enjoy it.

[...Lily frowns deeply. The reminder of that mirror is... She'd tried to separate out even Summer from it, and yet here she is throwing it back in her face. For Lily it had been a moment of personal affirmation for what she loved about Winter, and it had even led to her professing that love in an even deeper manner...

But it clearly means something entirely different to Summer.]

I would like to trust you. Honestly. But you say dangerous things, Summer, and... that can make it hard sometimes, for me, for everyone around us. So I have to make sure of these things.

But... alright, good. That's all I'm asking - so long we're on basically the same page, we'll have a much easier time getting to the bottom of this.

[She bites her lip.]

I would like to think though that even you're above that mirror's baser instincts. It's a part of you, just like you're a part of Winter... But those things were designed to bring out the harshest versions of ourselves. I think we're all a bit more in control of ourselves than that.
