Strangely, it hardly bothered Raye anymore. She'd been shot up, stabbed, smashed... even cut clear in half, only to regenerate each time. At this point, it was more or less par for the course. Even the pain that came with being hurt like that hardly bothered her, considering how fleeting it was before her Life Fibers fixed her up.
Well, that and she knew what dying felt like, and it didn't hurt. Pain wasn't the scary part.
