It's at about this time, as she jumps off an electrical box, springs from an awning, and lands on a very low roof to escape a pursuing beast, that her phone rings. For a moment, she doesn't move; it just shocks her. Here she's running for her life, and she has a phone call? But when she pulls out her earpiece, she shakes her head, before clicking the button and starting to walk away from the roof's edge. "Yes, this is Winter," she says by way of greeting; it comes out a little tense, given the flying things she can see not terribly far from here, but it's serviceable.
