Photo/Video. Upholding a proud tradition.

[It’s a proud tradition afterall, the silly accidental first network post. This one comes with a photo though, of a rather famous face sitting at a table in a restaurant, smiling toward a camera.

It’s followed a few minutes later by a video post, revealing the girl herself.]

Oh, shoot, that was supposed to on my Instagram, not here. Oh, well, I guess the cat’s out of the bag now.

Hi, everybody, Kirara Hoshimoto here! I don’t really know what brought all this on, but it looks like I’m part of the group now. I guess we can call that picture a special gift just for this network, so if anybody wants an autographed version just let me know and I’ll send one right over, okay?

[She flashes the screen a big smile, winks and holds her hand up in the “V” sign.]

[That's probably a sign that you've made it, right? When people seem to trip and stumble over their words a little when they met you. It's a nice ego boost... buut she doesn't want to spook the girl too much.

It's very nice to meet you, Rakka. Although, Yoshitoshi... [she pauses a moment in thought, considering and then switches right over to Japanese without so much as a hitch] ... would it be better to talk like this?

[It's kind of a given with Rakka. When you say you want to work in diplomatic relations between the Numbered and other people, you generally want to be a good talker though...

And she is mighty adorable, as many of her friends would admit much to her embarrassment. It's too darn true. That cuteness is showcased further when she hears Kirara start speaking Japanese, and her eyes light up.]

Y-yes, that's fine! I mean, you can still speak English if you want! I'm pretty good with both.

[Rakka's great adorableness is pretty much a law of the universe at this point. It's a tall order to suppress an "aww" at the excitement in Rakka's eyes when she switches languages.]

Nah, it's fine! I hardly ever get to talk to anyone like this so it's a nice change of pace sometimes, y'know?

[Her adorableness was both a blessing and a curse... at least to Rakka when she tried to be serious.

Ah, but regardless, she was finally calming down little by little as she spoke to Kirara.]

It's great! I don't get the chance much either, even though I'm pretty sure most of my friends know Japansese.

[She's totally talking with Kirara Amanogawa in Japanese aaaaa.]

You should ask them to do it some time. Your English is pretty good though, how long have you been speaking it?

I could, but I don't know. Would that be kind of rude? Maybe they don't really get it. [Her face lights up.] Oh! Uh, it's been a while. My parents-- they had me learn English a few years ago. So I'd be able to travel if I wanted.

[It's a little bad that not even Rakka completely understands it, though not for lack of trying. Not even her echoes gave her a proper answer of any sort. It was the worst.

Oh well. At least she could take pride in the fact that a celebrity just called her cute.]

[Rakka is a worrywart because her life is surrounded by people who get routinely run through the wringer. It's not fun for the poor girl's little heart.]

I looked up some things online, but nothing treats for halo static!
