Photo/Video. Upholding a proud tradition.

[It’s a proud tradition afterall, the silly accidental first network post. This one comes with a photo though, of a rather famous face sitting at a table in a restaurant, smiling toward a camera.

It’s followed a few minutes later by a video post, revealing the girl herself.]

Oh, shoot, that was supposed to on my Instagram, not here. Oh, well, I guess the cat’s out of the bag now.

Hi, everybody, Kirara Hoshimoto here! I don’t really know what brought all this on, but it looks like I’m part of the group now. I guess we can call that picture a special gift just for this network, so if anybody wants an autographed version just let me know and I’ll send one right over, okay?

[She flashes the screen a big smile, winks and holds her hand up in the “V” sign.]

[Ah, well. At least on recognizes the other. Lily takes that and smiles, nodding in response.] Yes, I'm one of the Precure, Cure Moonlight. It still feels kind of weird that people recognize me from all that, sometimes.

[Even if she's put her name out there a lot more now... but it does fele weird, still!]

I guess that explains it, but it's definitely something you'll adjust too. Trust me, I would know.

[Lily's eyes flutter in a little blink. That's all. Sorry, girl.]

Oh! Would you? [She smiles serenely, and completely unaware.] From what?

[She's just going to... to stare for a second, in disbelief. Nothing? Nothing at all? Not even a glimmer? A flicker of recognition? No?

... Congratulations, Lily, you've completely thrown Kirara off her game.]

I... I've been in a couple of movies.

[Another tiny blink.] Ohhh...

I just don't watch a lot of movies, I guess. Not unless my friends or family swindle me into it, and as it is, my wife and I are sort of bookworms...

[She shrugs a little and laughs.] But, that's pretty interesting!

Yeah. It's a lot of hard work but it pays off in the end.

[A sigh.] I know how that is, it's kind of a pain sometimes.

[Yes, please do, Lily. She's very proud of her work and more importantly she even thinks it's a pretty good movie all things considered!]

[At Lily's second comment her grin returns full force.]

[Lily frowns a little, not really understanding, because...]

[Nope. Apparently there is a definite failure to communicate here, judging by the way she tilts her head questioningly.]

[She sighs, shaking her head a bit.]

No, it's not exactly the same, I guess.

[After all, Kirara's a movie star! She's famous! Everyone loves her! And no one knows she's Numbered.

Lily, even with as much good press as she's been trying to garner, is - to some people, to the 24 hour news cycle - a pariah or "talking point." Some saw them as heroes, sure, but... To say that's the widely held opinion everywhere would be a joke.

She forces a smile, now.]

Hmm...

[That's true. It's probably a pretty different situation between the two of them. People paying attention to Kirara these days are typically fans, eager to meet her for an autograph or a picture. Lily... probably has a different problem.]

Okay, I guess I can see where you're coming from, but you can get around that, you just need to be a little creative. You'd be surprised how many people would look right past you with a change in hairstyle and clothing.

[Except... hmm.]

Although... that might be a little tougher with that hair. Is that real?

[Lily is about to say one thing, when that last question hits her and she looks a little... She's not sure if she should be offended or not!]

I-, uh. Yes, it's real!

I mean to say, it came with a pulse, so... It's natural. Now, anyway.

Hmm... well, the color does kind of suit you. It's just that purple hair would be kind of tough to cover up, even if you did change up your hairstyle.

[Hmm... she gives Lily a thoughtful, appraising look.]

Maybe you could wear a hat over it....

I've done that before [with sunglasses!] and it works sometimes, just... it's hardly foolproof.
