Photo/Video. Upholding a proud tradition.

[It’s a proud tradition afterall, the silly accidental first network post. This one comes with a photo though, of a rather famous face sitting at a table in a restaurant, smiling toward a camera.

It’s followed a few minutes later by a video post, revealing the girl herself.]

Oh, shoot, that was supposed to on my Instagram, not here. Oh, well, I guess the cat’s out of the bag now.

Hi, everybody, Kirara Hoshimoto here! I don’t really know what brought all this on, but it looks like I’m part of the group now. I guess we can call that picture a special gift just for this network, so if anybody wants an autographed version just let me know and I’ll send one right over, okay?

[She flashes the screen a big smile, winks and holds her hand up in the “V” sign.]

That is what I meant. People already want to know a lot about the rest of you, and I'd hate to put any attention on anybody that they didn't want.

That's what we like to hear. With a few unfortunate exceptions, we like to look out for our own and protect them where we can. Some are eager to share their stories and their experiences; others aren't even "out" to the world yet and have no immediate plans to change that.

Hmm... nothing much. Just some weird memory about a talking bird, and a snack.

In general I'm suspicious of taking the word of good actors at face value, but I do believe you.

What kind of talking bird? Back some time ago, a parrot started receiving echoes, and I wonder if there's a chance you're connected to him at all.

[That's good. She doesn't have a plan just yet, but the wheels in her head are going and one thing's for sure. If there is some way this could help her career, she's going to need these people on her side.

Hmm, I dunno. I'm not sure what kind of bird he was but he didn't look like a parrot. Oh, and he was purple.

Sort of. You'll meet him, I'm sure; his name is Torin. He started receiving echoes as a parrot in a zoo, and now he's a humanoid fighter with the means to travel instantly from location to location. He uses this primarily to travel the world and do good works.

He's very friendly, and very wise. I've gone to him for counsel many times.

Torin, huh? I'm sure I'll run into him sooner or later but I'll keep an eye out.

It's unlikely. He's quite large, and very colorful. He stands out in a crowd even among Numbered.

Is it customary for you to make fun of people's names? I'm just curious, because most people don't think out loud like that.
