Hello. It seems that new people generally introduce themselves here first, so my name is Dima. I've been having what you seem to call "echoes" for several months now, but I did not know the echoes could do things other than give you powers.

Does anyone know anything about these? I felt the echo, and these suddenly appeared. Is this normal? What do they even do?

It's possible. I think I'd have to see them up close and in person to get a better idea; all I can say for certain right now is that it's highly unlikely that our Others were associated or from the same place, otherwise I'd probably have gotten a Pulse off the image.

You said you've been getting them for several months. Why are you only making any appearance on the Network now?

I have looked at the network a few times before. I didn't see any need to post here, though. I thought I knew all I would need based on what the news told me about you. Or us, I guess.

But then I got echoes of things I didn't understand. Who else could I possibly ask?

Not really the social type, then? I can respect that. Unfortunately, nothing worth accomplishing really gets done alone, especially in the days since the invasion, so you were right to ask.

Not un-social. I just didn't see any point to it, especially when no one else seems to be from my region here. It looked like this network was just for people in America and New Zealand.

Before, Numbered people did only appear in certain cities. For awhile they could even go completely back to normal if they left those cities. Now it can really happen anywhere, so... I'd say the Network is for everyone that can see it without exception, as it's always been.

Your English is excellent, and I imagine you'd like to practice, but if you'd ever be more comfortable hearing something in your native language, I am fluent. I'd be happy to switch for you.
