VIDEO - [morning, September 17th, Central Time]
[The video begins, showing Dr. Weller sitting in front of his computer, smiling. He clasps his hands in front of himself before speaking]
Hello, everyone. I hope you're all well. I wanted to speak about the matter of-
[Before Weller can really say anything else, his expression changes. On the viewer's end, one would see Weller sitting there wide eyed, looking around nervously, as if he suddenly didn't know where he was. But on Weller' end, it's as if he's been taken to another time, another place.]
[A room, with a man in a yellow suit, and horrible glowing red eyes, contained within some kind of arch. A conversation plays out; a man, at his side, holding a gun, asking him about the murder of someone named "Nora Allen".
The man in the yellow suit ignores him, and focuses on Wells. He tells him that his goals are beyond his understanding. Weller... no, Harrison Wells responds, boasting about how he knew just how to trap a man with the powers of someone named "The Flash".
"I'm nothing like the Flash," the man in the Yellow Suit replies. "Some might say I'm the reverse."
And then... a blur. Weller's perception cannot tell them whether they're being pulled into it not. And then, the man in the yellow suit breaches the arch, trapping Wells inside with him. The man begins savagely beating him, until a blur with yellow lightning surges out and pulls them off of him.]
[on the other end, all viewers of the video would see or hear is Wells having a completely one-sided conversation, and then suddenly falling out of his chair, and then convulsing as if he were being repeatedly beaten. Finally, it ends, and he's left there, laying and feeling broken upon the floor.]
[ooc - If you wanted to hear the words Weller was saying, please reference this video clip. No one outside of Weller's own head would be able to hear the words of other characters, even those of his attacker.]

Voice
What . . . Are you alright?
voice
His nose is bleeding, a psychosomatic response to his experience just now]
Who...? Did... did someone watch this...?!
voice
... I'm sorry. It just happened while you were addressing the network. [He'd just felt more inclined to ask after Weller's welfare before asking what happened.]
[And a belated realization, but the tone that has already been set for this conversation prevents him from feeling very awkward about this:] We've spoken twice before, but I neglected to introduce myself. [Because what are social skills?] This is Nathan.
Re: voice
[Weller gropes around for his glasses. He eventually finds them, putting them back on with shaking hands]
I'm not certain what just happened to me. It was as if I had an echo, and yet...

[he sighs and rubs the bridge of his nose]
I thought I was... in another time or place for a moment. I believed someone was attacking me...
[A psychiatrist is what she has in mind, though it looks like he was bleeding too. Maybe multiple doctors are in order.]

H-hello? Are you okay?! Can you say anything?
Yes... thank you young lady. I'll be fine, for the moment at least...
Are you insane?! If I went in for help and told them I did this to myself, what do you think would happen?! My career is based on the mutual respect of my peers! And if I explained it happened because I'm Numbered... what would happen?!
...
...
[He looks down, as if in horror at his outburst.]
I-I'm sorry, young lady, I just...
[He can't come up with an excuse. Not one that feels good enough.]

[This is an alarming development, indeed.]

I... if you think you could come over to my labs, I'd greatly appreciate it...

[And he flat-out vanishes in a flash of golden light. Moments later, there's a knock at the door.]
I'm here. Can you move, or do I need to let myself in?
Re: [Video] > [Action]
[Weller is sitting just where he was a moment ago, but he moves to turn off the screen with a shaking hand. He doesn't want anyone to see his meeting with Torin.]

[He had barely been paying attention, he admitted. Then, the lights coming off of the screen served only to confuse him as he tried to make heads or tails out of what happened in the end.]
Re: Audio
[As he says this, his palms pound against the desk, followed by a frustrated growl.]
It was an echo! At least... I believe it was... but... no one has ever felt themselves being struck during an echo, have they?
Audio
[When he first gained the Karma of the Dragon, admittedly, he did jump a city block all at once.
It certainly felt like being struck.]
But, you're breathing fine? Jeez, you sound like you're breathing through chunks of yourself, man.
Re: Audio
[he groans, rubbing his forehead.]
The man in my memory... the man I was. I believe his injuries were more severe...

"Hey!" he has to fight from overreacting and slamming on the screen as though it were a window. "Where are you!? I'll come find you, help you!"
And then it's over almost abruptly. Large lines of worry are all over Blaise's face.
"Are you okay?! Do you need help? I can get someone!"
video
"Someone has already offered to come... thank you, however..."
video;
Yo, doc.
[He's more concerned than he sounds, but no point panicking just yet...]
You okay down there? Say somethin'.

I don't believe we've yet been introduced. My name is Edwin Weller...

[He settles back, adjusting the pair of aviator shades on the bridge of his nose.]
