Jacob stares at Tony a moment before he manages to slowly nod his head.

"...Please?" is the best he can bring himself to say, with maybe almost embarrassment in his tone. Nice to other people that might need help? Definitely. Needing help himself? Not so easy to forgive. Whether it makes him a problem, or seem incompetent, or cause people to mock him, he doesn't like any of the feelings he gets from asking for help for something so trivial.

And with how close some of the spectres come, it takes virtually everything Jacob has not to jump right behind Tony. He does, however, lean visibly away from them, somewhat closer in Tony's direction.
