Just what's going on? First gross slime then pink snakes [though she'd found the snakes kinda cute] and ghosts, now dinosaurs! I almost died! Speaking of, thanks mysterious speedy masked guy whose name I didn't get, for saving me.

Quick emergency Mina's Fashion Corner tip:

I've seen some people selling clothes with dinosaurs on them. And even a few wearing them. Do not do that. Seriously, it's a total fashion no-no. It's just tacky.

If you really want to go with a dinosaur theme, try wearing dinosaur colors! Besides, green's the in color right now. Loose clothing is also in, but it has to be stylish, okay? You can deviate from the current fashion, but that's not for amateurs. Only the stylish and cute can get away with it.

How do you feel about being normal? Do you realize that it also implies that you are average?

I'm definitely far above average. I didn't mean average. I meant not-weird.

So we can deduce based on that attitude that "weird" can be defined by unusual attributes that are socially undesirable or make others uncomfortable, correct?

That's right! You got it totally. That's what we're talking about.

Hm. I guess it makes sense.

So you don't think that geniuses and supermodels could be considered freaks?

[dictator_ko]

Of course not! Unless they're weird.

[numberedshepherd]

But they're freaks. Don't you think so? Whether or not they're weird, nature's endowed them with something that most people don't have.

[dictator_ko]

They're cool, not freaks! Well, some geniuses can be kinda weird, though, but that's nothing to do with their smartness.

Maybe it's everything to do with it. A lot of times certain traits go hand in hand with other ones.

Maybe geniuses spend so much time studying and honing their skills because they're awkward and don't have very many friends, for example.

I thought they just were geniuses. [Guess who hadn't put that much thought into why 'geniuses' are like they are.]

I don't truly believe that anyone is "just" anything. Nurture has more to do with it than I think people truly realize; nature sounds too close to fate, and even getting back what we are, as we are, the concept of free will is very important to me.

If behavior is learned more than written, there's hope yet.

Well, but some people just have advantages.

Not everyone who has them uses them, though. Think of a girl with model looks who covers her face with piercings and tattoos, or an athlete who ruins his health with drugs.

Okay, that's just messed up. People should use the advantages they've got. And not mess up their own bodies.

I'm not saying it should happen, but it absolutely does. People's situations are all different so it's worth it to try not to judge too quickly, but... I guess my point is that advantages that are squandered are every bit as detrimental as disadvantages, plain and simple.

You sure can be depressing sometimes. Seriously.

I think the truth, or pursuit of it, is the most important thing. Sometimes it's depressing.

Doesn't mean you have to wallow in the depressing stuff.

It isn't really wallowing to consider something and its various implications.

I've already said you tend to overthink things.

It's better than not thinking at all, right?

There's got to be a middle ground.

I wonder how many people have found it, and I doubt that nearly as many as one might guess have.

No, it's simpler than that.
