That gets a brief, nervous laugh out of him, the same as that joke about serial killers in their first conversation. Micah keeps unintentionally hitting awkward topics with his jokes.
"It's fine." And it is, really. At least sort of. It could be far, far worse at any rate. "We're getting along okay."
Which is at least more than could be said for their Others.
