Being the size of an average twelve-year-old (despite his real age), Nathan does indeed have a short stride. Were their roles here reversed, he'd have been hurrying to keep up. He keeps the puzzle tucked as close to him as he can while they walk, not wanting to risk bumping anyone with it. He should probably ask for something to put the pieces in later, too. What good will the puzzle be, if he loses any of the pieces?

"That's how it happened with Japanese and Russian for me." Having such a wealth of knowledge slam into one's mind abruptly can be a little alarming. "Lazarus has more. And our Others all had very similar education."

Possibly identical, even. At least in their own cases, considering that the program Near and Mello had gone through had been to replicate L's skills.

He nods ahead. "Four doors up the hall, on the left."
