Yes. That loathing expression is a delight, as is Jacob's utter powerlessness to do anything about it. He smiles, predatory and cold. It isn't a good smile, it's the smiling wolf before he devours you, or lets you run to live another day.
Today is Jacob's lucky day. The sword lowers when Jacob finally gets the nerve up to start moving, and just as quickly and smoothly as it had been flicked out to threaten it's pulled back in, casually returned to his side as if nothing had just transpired.
