We've gone to the end of the dream...
[A]
Who: Ryuzaki and Blaise; Blaise and OPEN!
What: The breakup and after the breakup
Where: Gateway City, some seedy motel, ending with aimless wandering.
When: October 14, 2016, early evening.
Status: First prompt [A] Closed! Second prompt [B] Open!
Blaise has his usual happy smile plastered on his face as he goes down the street as fast as he can. He's heading to Ryuzaki's latest motel to give him a surprise visit. He hopes his boyfriend will be just as happy to see him and he wonders what Ryuzaki's happy expression will be. He's looking forward to a kiss and a satisfied smile along with some praise of being so thoughtful. He's bringing flowers and a bag of bacon with him to give as presents.
It's getting close to their one month official anniversary, and Blaise is just giddy with thoughts of what to do for Ryuzaki on that day. What would Ryuzaki like? Maybe he can make a bacon-flavoured cake. How would he do that and pull it off? He's sure he could find a way. He chortles to himself in glee.
As he skips up to the doorstep, he's humming a happy tune. He knocks on the door cheerfully and rocks back and forth on his heels as he awaits his happy love. He's holding the flowers up and when Ryuzaki answers the door, he gives a very enthused, "Surprise! I brought you presents!"
------
[B]
Blaise wanders the streets, not really looking to head home. His face is tear-stained, with still more pouring out. The chilly air bites him a bit, but he feels numb. How could Ryuzaki do this? Why would he break up with him? Has he not been loyal? Sweet? Warm? Blaise bites back another sob and clenches his hands. He's not sure how to act, never having his heart broken before. This was way different than having a one-sided crush.
Questions plague the poor boy's mind as he wanders beside a fence. His legs don't want to move anymore and he curls up low to the ground, burying his head in his arms. It's too painful. It's not fair. Why did it have to end like this? Thoughts of Cesar being right crossed his mind, but he just buries his head further down in his arms, trying not to think about listening to that old warning.
Maybe he should be heading home, but he doesn't want his parents to see him like this. He doesn't want to have to admit his first love and that it went down the drain so quickly. Or how foolish he feels about making these secret visits to the man he thought was from his dreams. It hurts, and he doesn't want his parents to know the level of failure he feels. As he curls up to himself further, he finally lets out the painful sobs he's been holding back. They're loud and devastating, and he doesn't care if anyone else hears anymore.
