They were so high I would never be able to walk." She waved the attempted joke off. "Besides, if I didn't come I would just be watching reruns of some soap opera or something. Not exactly an exciting evening."

Celine was smiling now. Amy did tend to lift her mood. "I don't see why you would feel scared. You're just as strong as Emi is. You really don't have anything to be scared of." Celine took a sip from her glass, eyebrows raising subtly, looking down at it. It was quite good. "Have you had anything to drink yet?"
