action; locked to Winter & Lily;

Who: Lily & Winter Tsukuyomi
What: EVERYTHING IS FINE. NO ONE IS BOTHERED BY ANYTHING. NOPE.
Where: Locke City, their home
When: October 16th

It's been a trying couple of weeks. That much is putting it very, very lightly. Monster after monster after space marines. She needs down time. She needs to...

...not think about things that totally aren't bothering her, nope. The monsters came and went, no matter how much one of the embarrassed the hell out of her. She and Winter defeated it, just as they always had. Just as they always will.

She makes a face at that thought, as she lays across their couch, staring at the same passage on her Kindle that she had for the past thirty minutes. Sighing to herself in frustration, she sits up, chucking the device lightly into the corner of the seat and stalking across the room. She... peers outside the window, to make sure there's no more monsters stalking up and down the street. Cologne or Raquel hadn't come flying in, saying that either.

Okay. So. Her day is not yet a disaster.

This is stupid, she thinks to herself. You're stupid. What are you so worried about?

...

Well, she knows exactly what that is and she feels awful about it. It's nothing nobody's done. It's nothing she's afraid anyone might do. She knows Winter better than that. She knows she has nothing to worry about.

Yet, she feels really ugly for some of the things that have passed through both her head and heart in the past couple weeks. On top of that, Lily's ragged on her wife to be honest with her, even as recently as a few months ago. So here Lily is, mentally stressing out over her own mental pitfalls.

So she feels like a hypocrite on top of that.

Which just kind of creates a sort of spiral of mental frustration.

Another sigh, and she returns to her seat. She tilts her head back, banging it against the seat and stares up at their ceiling.

"Why am I such an idiot?"
