Blaise gives a warm smile as he steps away.

"I'm here if you ever want to talk, okay? If Summer's mean to you, I'll try my best to help."

Blaise looked at the clock on his phone. His mom is probably going to be getting worried soon.

"Are you sure I can't walk you anywhere? We've been out here for a while, we should probably get going."

He wasn't trying to sound hurried, but, he didn't want the embarrassing phone call from his mom, wondering where he is, to happen right in front of his new friend.
