Thunder Corp Recruitment Drive

Who: Everyone who agreed to be approached by Thunder Corp
When: September 21st
What: Thunder Corp is out to recruit
Where: Various Locations

On the date of September 21st, the visitations begin.

For some, they arrive in the form of men in well-pressed business suits. All of them are fit and attractive, almost artificially so, carrying suitcases that contain contracts they wish for those they approach to sign. Their friendliness is also absolute, though they are somehow aggressive at the same time. They've bought themselves into absolutely every location possible, either having traveled great distances with ease or simply found people where they would logically be. In any case, they approach their "targets" out of the blue, greeting them with an outstretched hand and an aggressively polite demeanor.

Still others receive a message in the form of electronic mail. The approach is different simply as a matter of personal resource. How exactly did they find out your e-mail address? Why, it's for the same reason they're able to approach people wherever they happen to be right now: They're Thunder Corp, and they are very resourceful! That's how!

A much more pressing question would be... how did they know you are a Numbered?

[OOC: There's two threads you can reply off of depending on how you decided to be contacted, ones for being approached in person, and ones for being contacted by personal e-mail.]

It's probably wise. Fortunately Tony has a fairly decent handle on his demon, most of the time, but it's still better to aggravate him unnecessarily. Although at worst he'll probably just leave in a huff, rather than go for outright violence. That's his Doppelganger's department.

"Right..." He does settle a little, no use shouting at a low level employee about the boss's decisions. Not his fault the PR department decided to be assholes. "Gee, I wonder why that might be?" He muses to no one in particular. "The murder, maybe? Nah, couldn't be." Okay, maybe he'll stop being a complete smart-ass. "No contracts." He repeats.

He may help, it might be interesting. But he's not signing up for full-time.

"You'll pay me cash. Under the table, like any other good shady and questionable organization." He responds with a cocky grin, flashing a fang for good measure, and a wink.

A little extra cash might be nice. And it would give him some things to beat up, an outlet he rather desperately needs. Why not put the two together?

There are times when Tony surprises even himself. He's not exactly business savvy by any means, but his other's more cautious nature when it comes to handing out information does him good on occasion. At least when it comes to being weird and mysterious.

"No promises. I'll give you a number, but it's not for social calls." A pay for minutes cheap general store phone, no less. Because that's what Tony prefers and it makes keeping tabs on him harder. Absolutely no contracts.

He needs his other to come bail him out of this mess, but it's too late he's gone in too deep.

Live and learn? Maybe? "Got a pen?" Because he'd really like to be left alone now so he can get going. Got a lot of traveling to do, you know.

Tony finally slides down off his little concrete perch to accept the offered notebook and pen, quickly jotting down his number though he does take a brief moment to appreciate how nice the pen is. Wow such a fancy pen.

"Sure. Try not to stab us in the back while you're at it, yeah?"

He offers the notebook and pen back when he's done.
