Thunder Corp Recruitment Drive
Who: Everyone who agreed to be approached by Thunder Corp
When: September 21st
What: Thunder Corp is out to recruit
Where: Various Locations
On the date of September 21st, the visitations begin.
For some, they arrive in the form of men in well-pressed business suits. All of them are fit and attractive, almost artificially so, carrying suitcases that contain contracts they wish for those they approach to sign. Their friendliness is also absolute, though they are somehow aggressive at the same time. They've bought themselves into absolutely every location possible, either having traveled great distances with ease or simply found people where they would logically be. In any case, they approach their "targets" out of the blue, greeting them with an outstretched hand and an aggressively polite demeanor.
Still others receive a message in the form of electronic mail. The approach is different simply as a matter of personal resource. How exactly did they find out your e-mail address? Why, it's for the same reason they're able to approach people wherever they happen to be right now: They're Thunder Corp, and they are very resourceful! That's how!
A much more pressing question would be... how did they know you are a Numbered?
[OOC: There's two threads you can reply off of depending on how you decided to be contacted, ones for being approached in person, and ones for being contacted by personal e-mail.]

"What company?" His eyes narrow and he shifts his feet. "How do you know about that?" Is a year not long enough to disappear? Tony's honestly rather surprised anyone knew he existed other than his own close knit circle. But then he wasn't very subtle toward the end.
no subject
"You've almost certainly heard of us. We're known as Thunder Corp," he says, keeping his smile in place as though bracing for a negative reaction. "We'd like to discuss a unique opportunity with you, as well as compensation for your involvement. I think you'll find what we're willing to offer very generous."
no subject
It's safe there, high ground, and he can keep an eye on what this guy is up to."What do you think you could possibly offer after all of that?" Thunder Corp didn't exactly make friends with their actions, and further antagonizing the Numbered? Probably not the best way to get them to cooperate.
no subject
"Ballsy? Perhaps..." he says with a slight smile. "I can understand your trepidation in working with us after, ah... the Calamity and events related to it. But we're under new management, and we think that we can reach a mutually beneficial agreement with quite a few of you, if only you're open-minded enough to consider it."
no subject
"So what's this supposedly beneficial agreement of yours? Your boys already started up the smear campaign on us, why should we trust you now? Sounds to me like your just up to your old tricks."

He straightens up again, turning to face the businessman more fully while crossing his arms over his chest. With a little effort Tony could look fairly imposing. "I'll think on it. You need a few snakes tossed out of the yard, that's something we can work with. But I'm not signing any contracts."

"Right..." He does settle a little, no use shouting at a low level employee about the boss's decisions. Not his fault the PR department decided to be assholes. "Gee, I wonder why that might be?" He muses to no one in particular. "The murder, maybe? Nah, couldn't be." Okay, maybe he'll stop being a complete smart-ass. "No contracts." He repeats.
He may help, it might be interesting. But he's not signing up for full-time.
no subject
"I'm so glad you're reconsidering. And I'm afraid you'll have to sign something, or else how will you cash your paycheck?" he asks with a softer, charming smile.
no subject
A little extra cash might be nice. And it would give him some things to beat up, an outlet he rather desperately needs. Why not put the two together?
no subject
"If you're willing to do the job, I'm sure we can work something out. I'll need to talk to my superiors before I make any kind of promise, and obviously, anything we sign is something you'll need to as well if you want us to be accountable for it... we'll also need a way to contact you once these terms have been discussed by our legal team."
no subject
"No promises. I'll give you a number, but it's not for social calls." A pay for minutes cheap general store phone, no less. Because that's what Tony prefers and it makes keeping tabs on him harder. Absolutely no contracts.
no subject
"Yes, excellent. And you can rest assured that the only calls you'll be receiving will be strictly business-related," he vows. "We'll be in touch, then, and I'll let you get back to your day as soon as I have that information."
no subject
Live and learn? Maybe? "Got a pen?" Because he'd really like to be left alone now so he can get going. Got a lot of traveling to do, you know.
no subject
"Thank you very much for your cooperation, Mr. Sparado. I think I speak for many at Thunder Corp when I saw that it's a relief to us."
no subject
"Sure. Try not to stab us in the back while you're at it, yeah?"
He offers the notebook and pen back when he's done.
no subject
"Try to have some faith, Mr. Sparado," the man says, taking back the notebook and pen and pocketing them with a gentle smile. "I believe you will not be disappointed."
