Even out here in the remote wilds of New Zealand's South Island, in a town peopled entirely by Numbered that is intentionally hard to find for individuals who are not specifically led or directed there, the stranger has managed to arrive. His sleek, black company car causes quite a stir (and one particularly lustful groan from Nux), but even though those that glimpse him do so with suspicion and distrust, wondering how and why he's here, he's got very particular people in mind.

There's no immediate reason to kick him out or make him leave. He's perfectly polite, cordial and friendly. He doesn't seem to be armed. He doesn't seem to be hostile. He's just an odd and unwelcome presence in a famously insular community.
