Arlene returned to work the day after she was attacked by dinosaurs and contacted the Network in hysterical tears. She's since recovered, as well as shelved the bridal veil she received as her super useful echo with a roll of her eyes, even though Buddy had given her grief over her scratches and bruises she'd accumulated as a result of running for her life.
She'd met a few people, including a young vampire and a very cute guy who said he'd come in this week, and maybe she's paying a little more attention to her hair and makeup than she has in years. She's still wearing nurse's shoes, but her nails are done and she's bought a new shade of lipstick specifically for the occasion. Not that she knows what she's going to say once he's here, but at least the stumbling, awkward words can be framed by a pretty color.
She approaches your table with a smile. Whether or not she's seen you before, she has to follow this script."Hi, welcome to Buddy's. Anyone else joining you today? Care for some coffee?"
