[Lily greets the Network with a smile and a nod. Though there's a few scratches here and there, she seems to have survived the dinosaur mishap in one piece.]
Hello, everyone. I hope that everybody who ran into the trouble in Gateway is doing alright, or at least hasn't suffered too badly. We seem to have been able to help get those things herded into one place, at least - it would seem Mr. Factor has issued some help in building up more permanent ways to keep them captive, for the time being.
Between that and the other strange things, however... that goop from last month, ghostly apparitions in Shephard's Haven, and... [She taps her chin and frowns just a little.] I saw a report, a sighting in Locke City of... well, snakes. Large, pink stone snakes, like the ones we fought a long time ago.
[She shakes her head.] That seems impossible, though. The giant snake was killed just as long ago...
[Not to mention Proud.]
I wonder... has anyone else seen anything of note? All of this stuff is happening in such close proximity, it's got to be connected in some way, but it's escaping me.
[B - Locked to Winter; Action]
Gateway City is fine and everything, but Lily's starting to get more than a little homesick. The dinosaurs were under control, and she enjoys having certain people and family in close proximity, but... They'd made a new home in Shephard's Haven, right?
In some way, it feels like they're running again. She can't blame Winter for the fear she expressed, and she can't lie and say she doesn't worry about something similar. What she'd be faced with there... The likes of Dark Precure, or Sabaaku...
A part of her wants to go back, to force the hand of whatever's messing with them this time. To see what will happen and conquer it.
Lately though, she's been rather adamant about a number of things to Winter. She's had to put her foot down in some ways, and expressed great worry in others. She worries a little bit, that she's pushing things. Certainly, it's within her bounds to worry about this stuff, but... she doesn't exactly want to make herself unbearable to work with, either. Bleeding heart that she is, even if she believes herself right, she feels a bit bad about it.
Which may or may not explain the bouquet of flowers sitting in their room that she's finishing tidying up.
[C - Wild Card?]
[Lily's around Gateway City anytime from the Incursion Event until around now; if you wanna run into her on the streets or anything, feel free!]

And yet, you've made a new Precure from whole cloth. You've created a faction, a dynasty, that will last into eternity. How long will it take for your hope to be corrupted into something ugly? A year? Ten years? Twenty? Fifty, or a hundred? When you pass your Perfume down to your daughter, or when she passes it to hers? It might not happen in our lives, but something is going to change, somewhere down the line. That is the only thing I fear more than the darkness I wipe out, so you can your precious partner can stay in the light. Someday, the darkness will come calling where I can't reach it, and the day it swallows you whole is the day this world is doomed all over again.
Until that day comes, I'll complain about my lot in life, and I promise you that I will make your life hell every chance I get. But I will make damned sure that nothing gets to you before I'm good and ready for it. Because I sure as hell don't want your Mirages, your mirrors, or your darkness running around for me to have to deal with. Or, more likely, try to deal with. Diamond Mirage was an asshole.

Well, when you put it like that...
[Her posture straightens a bit, her expression becoming impassive.]
I'm not as worried as you might want me to be, from saying something like that. In fact, it makes it pretty clear you lack a couple of key things, Summer.
[Things that Winter has in full, things that Lily loves about her... so it should be no surprise that her mirror opposite lacks them entirely.]
There's a good reason I'm not worried about those things, but I suspect it may be beyond your own reach to fully comprehend them. [A thin smile and an overly friendly tone make their appearance.] After all, I've been expecting you to my my life hell for awhile now, and you're only just now making good. It's always good to know there's someone else willing to keep me safe for the time being, but... You've still got a lot more to understand than it would seem you believe you do~

It's fine if you're not worried. For once, I'm not trying to scare you. I just want to make sure you know why I'm watching you. All of you. And when I put a big icicle in your back someday, I want you to understand why. All of the love and trust in the world might not be enough to withstand that darkness, when it comes. And someday, you'll have someone you care about enough - other than Winter - that you'll thank me for it as I twist the knife.
You and your partner have already pledged to end me if I get out of control, and I accept that. Just know that I'm prepared to promise the same, without as much of the friendship speech nonsense you two are so fond of.

I could say again that's something you don't have to worry about, but... I believe we'd just be going in circles at that point.
[She sighs.] So if I'm not worried about that, then I'll just take it that I don't have to worry about that icicle just yet. And if I do... then maybe I'll understand, if it's something that truly dire. In the meantime... another set of eyes is always good, Summer. I do actually mean that.
